Buffalo River State Park campground has 44 sites (35 with electric hookups) and is located in a beautiful hardwood forest along the Buffalo River. There is also one group campsite. The campground has modern restrooms with flush toilets and showers.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 60 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grills. Most sites have good shade. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets (vault in winter), showers (closed in winter), and a dump station (seasonal).  The park also has 2 golf courses (one next to park), a picnic area and shelter, and a swimming beach/pond.

The park offers some of Minnesota’s best prairies to explore and see the abundant wildlife. Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking and many other outdoor recreation activities.
