Camden State Park Campground is located next to the beautiful Redwood River in southwestern Minnesota and has 80 single-family campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. The campground has a Lower Loop (campsites 1-37) and an Upper Loop (campsites 38-82). The Lower Loop has 25 sites with electric hookups and the Upper Loop has 21 sites with electric hookups. Campsites can accommodate RVs or or a vehicle/trailer up to 60 feet.  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. There’s also an equestrian camping area with 12 sites. Group camping is also available.

The campground is open year round, but with limited site availability (29) and facilities during the winter (Dec 1 to March 31). Campground amenities include drinking water, flush and vault toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. The park also has a picnic area and shelter, playground, horseshoes, swimming beach and boat access. Rentals (at park office) include canoe, kayak, paddleboat, paddle board and snowshoes. Firewood and ice are also available for sale at the park office.

Camden State Park – Area Recreation

There is variety of year-round outdoor recreation including boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. In the winter visitors can enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.  The fall colors in autumn are also spectacular!
