Fall Lake Campground Superior National Forest Minnesota

Fall Lake Overview

Fall Lake Campground has 64 single-family campsites (50 w/electric hookups) and is set along the shores of the beautiful lake. Most campsites have great views of the water and trees provide nice privacy between most sites. Two group sites are also available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Ten sites are tent only. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  Sites can have up to 1 vehicle and 1 towed vehicle, as well as up to 9 people. Campground amenities include a camp store, drinking water, flush and vault toilets, showers, trash collection, a playground, boat launch, boat-trailer parking and a picnic shelter. Firewood, ice and supplies are available for purchase. Canoe rentals are also available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, swimming (swim beach), fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Part of Fall Lake north of the campground lies within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (permits required). The rest of the lake to the southwest is open to unrestricted boating.

Other campgrounds in the area include South Kawishiwi River and Birch Lake.
