Glendalough State Park Campground Minnesota

Glendalough State Park Overview

Glendalough State Park offers 22 cart-in campsites, 3 canoe campsites, 1 group campsite (up to 40 people), 2 yurts and 4 camper cabins. All are reservable.

The park features beautiful hardwood forests, the crystal clear Annie Battle Lake and numerous places to explore by foot, bike, canoe or kayak.

Cart-in sites are located in a wood area and about 200 to 1,200 feet from the parking area. Carts are provided at no extra charge.

Canoe sites are over on the Northeast shore of Annie Battle Lake. Campers can also hike or bike to the canoe sites.

The group camp (tent only) is located on a shaded knoll along a creek between Molly Stark and Annie Battle Lakes. It is also a short walk to the beach, fishing pier and picnic shelter.  Amenities include 4 fire rings, 4 tables, water and vault toilet.

The two Yurts can be reached by foot, bike or canoe/kayak. Firewood is provided (no extra charge) during the winter months. Yurts do not have electricity.

Each camper cabin has electricity and a propane ‘fireplace,’ and is available Thursday through Sunday in the winter, and daily from April through October.

Amenities include showers (located in campground restroom), flush toilets (at trail center) and vault toilets (throughout the park).

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing,  picnicking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy well-groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. A paved bike trail loop and numerous hiking trails, including two interpretive trails, meander along five lakes, through rich woods and blooming prairies.
