Lake Maria State Park offers year-round camping and has 17 backpack (remote) sites, 2 group sites and 3 camper cabins available.
The backpack sites are remote and overlook lakes and ponds. You have about a 1-mile walk to the campsites from the parking area.
The 2 group campsites are rustic with vault toilets and water available. Each site is for tent-camping only and can accommodate up to 50 people.
The 3 camper cabins range from about 1/2 to 1 mile from the parking area. You must walk to these locations. Each cabin sleeps 6, has a wood stove but no electricity. Vault toilets are nearby and pets are not allowed.
Other amenities at the park include flush toilets and drinking water (at the Trail Center), gift shop, warming house (winter only), horse trails, boat ramp, a picnic area/shelter and hiking trails. Firewood is also available for purchase at the Park office.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, backpacking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
