McDougal Lake Overview
McDougal Lake Campground has 21 campsites and is located next to the 323-acre lake in a thick forest of birch, maple and pine.
There are 13 reservable campsites and 8 held for first-come, first-serve campers (sites 14-21). Some sites (10, 14 and 15) are walk-to/hike-in. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include a solar powered water faucet, vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also a boat ramp and picnic area available. Cell service is not available.
Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation includes fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, hunting, picnicking, hiking, biking, hunting and wildlife viewing. There is also a one-mile trail that loops along the shore and through the forest.
Little Isabella River Campground is also nearby.
