If you enjoy vehicles driving through the site, almost every minute and a half, party people, dirt campsites, very little privacy; this is your spot! No relaxation here! Park Ranger drove by frequently and did a patrol around 10pm. Seemed to help quiet down the loud parties. Toilets were clean and plenty of firewood.
Beautiful park, terrible campground.
I have never seen a ticker swarm of mosquitoes anywhere. The mosquitoes are brutal. Also the campground is in close proximity to very active train tracks which are active all day and all night. The train horns through the night will periodically wake you up and during the day the train noises really take away from the “getting away from it all” experience that should come with camping.
