St Croix State Park Overview

St. Croix State Park has three campgrounds with a total of 211 campsites and is located next to the St. Croix River. There are 81 campsites with electric hookups (42 at Riverview, 9 at Paint Rock Springs, 20 at Old Logging Trail and 19 at the equestrian campground).

There are also 2 backpack sites, 4 walk-in sites, 10 canoe sites, 8 cabins, 1 group site and 40 equestrian sites. The developed campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 60 feet). The sites also have a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, vault toilet, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a visitor center, nature store/gift shop and picnic areas. Ice and firewood are also available for sale during the camping season.

St. Croix State Park offers 34,000 acres and two rivers (the Saint Croix and the Kettle River) for the outdoor enthusiast to enjoy. Activities include canoe/kayaking, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hiking and biking.
