Alley Spring Overview

Alley Spring Campground has 162 campsites and is located along the Jacks Fork River in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.  There are 28 campsite with electric hookups and 3 group campsites also available. Campsites #217 and #609 are accessible.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, a camp store, dump station and trash collection. There’s also a ranger station, picnic pavilion, amphitheater and a visitor center. Cell service is not available in the area and there is not any internet service.

Other campgrounds in the area include Round Spring, Two Rivers, Pulltite and Akers.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Known for its caves, springs, sinkholes and losing streams, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways has over 300 identified caves within its boundaries. They range in size from a rock overhang to almost seven miles of identified passages. Eight caves, including an open sinkhole, have been designated as outstanding natural features.
