Echo Bluff State Park – Timbuktu Overview

Echo Bluff State Park – Timbuktu Campground has 72 campsites including 60 full service (hookup) and 12 walk-to (tent only). A lodge and cabins are also available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Utility carts are also available for the walk-to (tent-only) sites. Each of the 60 full service sites have water, electricity, pump service, a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, laundry facilities, trash collection, a dump station and complimentary WiFi throughout the park. Showers and water are available April 1 through October 31. Firewood is also available to purchase at the check-in station. Other amenities include the Creekside Grill, camp store (Sinkin’ Creek Mercantile) and bike rentals.

Round Spring Campground is also nearby.

Echo Bluff State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Beside camping at Timbuktu Campground, visitors can enjoying fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Weddings and other events can also be held at the park.
