Sutton’s Bluff Overview

Sutton’s Bluff campground has 34 single-family campsites (14 with electric hookups) and is located next to the Black River in the Mark Twin National Forest.  Campsites are fairly large and spread out. They can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault & flush toilets and showers. There is also a large pavilion and picnic area. Firewood is also available for sale for the camp host. Cell service is poor in the area.

Sutton’s Bluff – Area Recreation

OHVing is popular here with 20 miles of all-terrain vehicle trails in the area. Other outdoor recreation includes swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, hiking mountain biking and hunting.  There’s also some spectacular scenery and wildlife to see.  The small mining town of Centerville is also located about 6 miles from the campground.
