Has anyone stayed at site 135 was told it had double drive
Hi Charlotte,
Yes – site 135 is a premium site / double site with multiple hookups.
I made a reservation for May 11, 2019 for site 037. I’ve just noticed that the site is listed as severe. Since I have a 40 foot motorhome with front door access, will the steepness of leveling my motorhome work? or do I need to choose another site?
Hi Robert,
Not sure where you saw that Buccaneer State Park campsite #37 is listed as ‘severe’. We show it as a flat ‘premium’ back-in campsite that can accommodate tents/trailers up to 65 feet.

which loop is closes to the waterpark
Hi William,
The ‘Jean Lafitte’ loop is closest to the water/beach. And if you click on the ‘Campground Map’ button you can see the entire layout of Buccaneer State Park campground.
I realize that the “primitive” sites are first come-first served. Hypothetically speaking if someone wanted to camp in one of the primitive sites on a weekday night this month, what would the rate be for that one night for 2 adults in a tent?
HI Trey,
Good question. Reservable tent sites are $28 at Buccaneer State Park, but we’ve been unable to confirm how much the primitive (first-come, first-serve) sites cost per night. You may try calling the park directly at: 228 467-3822
We camped at campsite 263 and had a wonderful time.
Loved the view
But I’m wondering do they have wifi at any of the campsite with full services?
Hi Glenda,
We have not been able to confirm whether Buccaneer State Park’s campground/campsites have WiFi service. You may try calling the park directly to confirm at: 228 467-3822
The campground was very nice. Bath houses clean and employees very nice. My comment is they don’t tell u u have to place for pool use and no discount on water park. Pool was closed 2 days each week we were there and no text or email to let u know till u get there. The lady running the store was so sweet and very apologetic for the problems.
