  1. Nice clean cabins and grounds however the signs and rules say no pets well there is about 80% of the people here with pets and I boarded my pet being a person to follow the rules I think this rule should be lifted or reinforced. Second my concern is it is not a quite park loud music and partying going on all weekend which was very disruptive. The staff is nice enough yet complain constantly about being over worked I too work for the state and I can tell you state workers are far from over worked .

  2. My husband and I have camped there since early 90s and when Robert Welsh was ranger there this was the best place to camp but since he left it has really went down hill! People that are not even registered to camp there come in all hours riding through going fast and loud music blaring and looking for stuff to steal! Some wait until after dark and slip in and fish! Which is wrong because we are paying to fish there and they are slipping in and fishing free! The pads are all broken up and limbs falling and you are lucky they don’t fall on you! And don’t think we haven’t complained because we have and it doesn’t do any good! NOTHING has been done! And probably won’t ever be! Robert kept that place nice and kept riff raft out of there that didn’t belong there! They bring drugs in and there are parties with loud hollering and music and fighting! Dogs are running loose all over everybody’s pad and pooping in camp spots that other people have! I have a dog too but I don’t take him! Someone needs to be out there!!! Diane

Bathrooms are nasty! The place needs to be mowed and kept up. One of the bath houses were locked this morning. We were told by the man that took my reservation that just because the spot didn’t have a reservation ticket on the pole did not necessarily mean it wasn’t reserved.. this campground is a joke!!
