John W Kyle State Park Comments & Reviews
Visited John W Kyle State Park Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to John W Kyle State Park?
We havent stayed at the John W Kyle State Park yet but my sister lives close to there and we jsut bought a new camper from http://www.bigdaddyrvs.com and we have scheduled our first out of state camping trip here. Looks like a great place to see wildlife. I am a amature photographer and love taking wildlife pictures. Thanks for the post. Lots of great information
Run down, afraid to use rest rooms. Dogs off leash running unsupervised. If you have a problem with your site you are on your own. No one mans the office. Will not stay here again. Watch out for prices
This was our first camping experience in our new motor home and it was not the best. My first problem was how hard it was to find the entrance to the park. I passed it up twice. We were not from Oxford and it took a bit to find it. We were on site 286 and it was a great view of water and we could not wait to go sit it in with the grand kid. When we did sit in the water and I mean 2 ft from the grass we were told by the ranger that swimming was not allowed
After feeling like I had broke the golden rule of swimming I put out a plastic pool so my grandson could at least play in there but the “WARDEN” or ranger came by again to informed me that we could not do that either. I asked him what was the problem with a plastic pool and a 4 year kid sitting in it. I got a stupid look but no answer. I wouldn’t go back to this park if it was free. If that is the kind of rangers they have, it might as well be patrolled by armed military. Sad!!!!
