Natchez State Park has two campgrounds and one primitive camping area located in a wooded setting next Natchez Lake. There are 58 total sites (most reservable) and all have water & electric hookups. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. There are 10 cabins also available to rent.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, laundry facility and a dump station (at both campgrounds). The park/campground also has firewood for sale, a boat launch, playground, visitor center, picnic areas and mixed-used trails.
The Park is the oldest settlement on the Mississippi River and it was home to more than half of the millionaires in the U.S. prior to the Civil War. Today visitors can tour some of these magnificent mansions and visit other historic sites. Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, disc-golf, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
