Canyon Overview

Canyon Campground has 15 campsites and is located in Southwest Montana approximately 16 miles North of Gardiner on highway 89.  The Yellowstone River is right across the highway from the campground and offers great fishing and rafting.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets.

Canyon – Area Recreation & Info

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. IN fact, the area is home to an abundance of wildlife including antelope, bison, deer and elk.  Yellowstone National Park – north park entrance is also about 17 miles away.
