Cascade Campground Custer National Forest Montana
Cascade Overview
Cascade campground has 30 campsites and is located on the West Fork of Rock Creek in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table and campfire ring with grill. Most sites are reservable, but about 20% are first-come, first-serve.
Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Trash services are not available, but you can leave it at nearby Basin campground. Cell service is not available in the area.
Cascade – Area Recreation
Cascade Campground is located 11 miles west of Red Lodge, in southern Montana. It conveniently sits along Forest Road 2071, which is paved for most of the route. The area is a popular location for hiking, mountain biking, hunting, backpacking and fishing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Sheridan, Parkside, Rattin, Limber Pine and Greenough Lake.
