Grasshopper Campground Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest Montana
Grasshopper Overview
Grasshopper campground has 24 single-family campsites and is located in a canyon next to Grasshopper Creek in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and small RVs (up to 30 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. No trash collection provide (pack-in / pack-out). Cell service is not available in the area.
Grasshopper – Area Recreation
Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also some nice OHV trails in the area.
You may also like Tower Rock or Twin Creek campgrounds over in Idaho. Bannack State Park & Campground is also 24 miles to the south.
