Greek Creek Overview

Greek Creek Campground has 15 single family campsites as is located next to the Gallatin River in scenic Gallatin Canyon.  A beautiful forest of spruce, fir and cottonwood trees covers most of the campground.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur (up to 45 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the friendly camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Greek Creek – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, rafting, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great with opportunities to see bald eagles, bighorn sheep, moose, elk, mountain goats, deer and coyote. Black and grizzly bears also live in the canyon.  Anglers cast for rainbow, brown, brook and cutthroat trout, whitefish and Arctic grayling on the Gallatin River.

Other campgrounds in the area include Swan Creek, Moose Creek Flat, Moose Creek Group Site and Spire Rock.
