Lost Johnny Point Overview
Lost Johnny Point campground has 21 single-family campsites and is located next to the Hungry Horse Reservoir in the Flathead National Forest.
Campsites 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17 and 21 are walk-in (first-come, first-serve). All others are reservable. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate. Camping roads and parking spurs are paved.
Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is poor in the area.
Lost Johnny Point – Area Recreation
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming at Hungry Horse Reservoir. Other activities inlaced hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
You may also like Doris Creek, Apgar, Lid Creek or Fish Creek campgrounds.
