Piney Campground has 46 campsites and is located next to Georgetown Lake in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest of Montana. Campsites 1-18 (A-Loop) are reservable. The rest are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (RV up to 45 feet / trailer up to 32 feet). Up to 2 vehicles and 6 people per site. The first 2 vehicles are included in camping fee. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Parking pads are also paved. Most sites have views of the water.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water and vault toilets. A boat ramp is also nearby. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good at the campground.

Piney – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boat, water sports, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great with opportunities to see moose, elk, white-tailed deer, bighorn sheep and other forest creatures.
