Swan Lake Overview

Swan Lake Campground has 41 spacious campsites and at the north end of scenic Swan Valley in northwest Montana. The campground consists of 2 loops with reservable and first-come, first-serve campsites. Group camping is also available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is generally available for purchase from the camp host. A picnic/day-use area and boat ramp are also located across the highway and down by the lake.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, hunting and picnicking. Kayak and paddle boards rentals are available. Wildlife viewing is also great with opportunities to see grizzly bear, lynx deer, and numerous other forest creatures.
