Vigilante campground has 14 campsites for tents, trailers and small RVs (up to 16 feet) and is located close to Trout Creek. The campground is about 7 acres and set among a beautiful forest of tall pines. From here you can access the Hanging Valley National Recreation Trail and scenic Trout Creek Canyon Trail.
The campground is first-come first-serve. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Our favorite Vigilante campsites are: 2, 4, 5, 8, 12, 14
Outdoor recreation activities includes hiking, backpacking, biking, fishing, hunting, OHV riding, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great here too!
