Yaak River Campground has 44 single-family campsites and is located at the confluence of the Yaak River and Kootenay River. Group camping is also available. The campground is open year-round.
Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 32 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is not available in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes canoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHVing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Fireman Memorial Park Campground is also located in the town of Libby, and you may want to check out Dorr Skeels Campground or Bad Medicine Campground by Bull Lake.
