Badin Lake Overview

Badin Lake Campground is open year-round and has 35 campsites in a forested area next to the lake. Some sites are waterfront.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Double sites include 6, 20 and 28. Each site also has a table, lantern post, tent pad, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers and trash collection. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. The Cove boat ramp and a dump station are also a few miles away. Group camping is available at Badin Lake Group Camp. Cell service is good in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Arrowhead and Morrow Mountain State Park.

Badin Lake Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. About 40 miles of non-motorized trails are available for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. There is also about 17 miles of motorized trails for off-road vehicle riding in the area. The surrounding land offers both big and small game hunting.
