Badin Lake Group Camp Overview

Badin Lake Group Camp is open year-round and has 3 group campsites (up to 50 people per site) in a forested area near the lake.

The group sites can have up to 10 vehicles per site and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Each site also has a table, lantern post, tent pad, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers and trash collection. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host over at Badin Lake Campground. The Cove boat ramp and a dump station are also a few miles away.  Cell service is good in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Arrowhead and Morrow Mountain State Park.

Badin Lake Group Camp – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. About 40 miles of non-motorized trails are available for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. There is also about 17 miles of motorized trails for off-road vehicle riding in the area. The surrounding land offers both big and small game hunting.
