   I have been camping at Bandits Roost for 30+ years. It is my favorite campground. This year Marvin and his lovely wife are back as gate keepers. I have missed them for 6-7 years. The grounds here are well maintained and clean. Campsites are roomy and most are single sites. I wish I could give it more stars. Campers are considerate and trustworthy-at least that has always been my experience.

   We have camped at Bandits Roost several times in the past 3 years. We usually get the same campsite #69 which is a great private back in that’s pretty level. This year we had to choose a different site. The campground map is not at all accurate either online or the one provided by the gate attendant. Our site 15 shares a 102 foot drive with site 14. These are not listed as buddy sites and no width dimension is under details online. The map shows nicely separated camping areas but this is not the case! The total width of both sites is about 35 ft. Site 15 utilities are right at site 14 front door . When we arrived, the leaves were thick on the ground and we could not see the edges of the individual sites. Looks like COVID has effected grounds maintenance. We have never been here with no leaves blown off the sites.
