Kerr Lake SRA Kimball Point Campground has 74 campsites and is located in the along the eastern shoreline of beautiful Kerr Lake. Electric hookup sites are 31-78D and H1. Double sites are 34D, 37D and 78D. Several campsites are water front and most are quite large (parking area ranging from 25 to 90 feet).

Campground amenities include drinking water (spigots), flush toilets, showers and a dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  Kimball Point also has a boat launch, playground, picnic/day use area and a ranger station. Cell service is fair in the area.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, picnicking, volleyball and wildlife viewing.

Other Kerr Lake Recreation Area campgrounds include Henderson Point, J.C. Cooper, Nutbush Bridge and Hibernia.
