Buffalo Bill Ranch State Recreation Area Campground has 22 single-family campsites along the North Platte River and next to the Historical Park. All campsites have electrical hookups. There are also 6 primitive sites for tent campers.
Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Firewood is also available or sale at the campground.
The park features the home of the legendary Wild West showman known as Buffalo Bill. Buffalo Bill’s Victorian house (built in 1886) and 25-acre ranch are located at the Historical Park. Outdoor recreation includes fishing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
