Louisville State Recreation Area campground has 223 single-family campsites and is located on the south bank of the Plate River in Cass County. There are 210 sites with electric hookups. Primitive camping is also available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a floating playground, picnic area and camp store. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is good in the area.
Visitors can enjoy 192 acres of outdoor fund. The park features 5 sandpit lakes and a variety of outdoor recreation including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. Anglers will find bass, catfish and bluegill in all of the lakes.
