Natick Campground Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands Nebraska

Natick Overview

Natick Campground 006

Natick Campground has 17 campsites and is next to a hand-planted forest and the native grasslands in central Nebraska. All campsites are first-come, first-serve.

The campground is equestrian friendly with 20 corrals for riding stock. Other amenities include drinking water (hand pump), vault toilets and trash collection. Camp roads and parking spurs are gravel.  Large trees provide good shade to most campsites.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur (up to 80 feet), table, fire ring and grill.

Livestock must be fed certified weed-free hay and kept in the corrals. Livestock are also not allowed to be in campsites, except for saddling and unsaddling (no more than 30 minutes). Please clean the corrals after use with the wheelbarrow provided and deposit manure in the bunk.

Natick Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes horseback riding, OHV trail riding, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also decent in the area.  When in the forest and grasslands, you might see whitetail deer, mule deer, turkeys, badgers, bobcats, quail, prairie grouse, raptors, owls and other birds, turtles, and antelope.

You might also like Steer Creek Campground if headed north, or Buffalo Bill Ranch SRA if headed south.
