Pawnee State Recreation Area Overview

Pawnee State Recreation Area campground has a total of 199 single-family campsites and is located next to Pawnee Lake. There are 102 sites with parking pads and 68 of the have electric hookups. Campsites 75 to 125 are walk-to tent campsites. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also an archery range, boat ramp, camp store, snack bar, picnic area and playground.

Pawnee State Recreation Area – Activities & Other Info

Pawnee Lake is the second largest lake in the Salt Valley and has some great boating, fishing and water sports to enjoy. Other activities include hiking, biking, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking, archery, shooting and wildlife viewing.
