Osceola Vista Campground has 16 large and open campsites set among a northern hardwood forest in the White Mountain National Forest. It is a popular campground for larger groups.
The spacious campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (3o to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, overflow parking and trash collection. Cell service is good in the area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Waterville (2 miles), Big Rock (6 miles) and Russell Pond (7 miles).
The area is popular spot for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, canoeing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Opportunities to fish, kayak, canoe, swim and golf are also nearby.
Just minutes away, hiking enthusiasts will find the Sandwich Range Wilderness and 80 miles of the White Mountain National Forest’s prime hiking trails.
The White Mountains boast pristine forests, clear mountain streams and rivers and the tallest peaks in the Northeast. The forest encompasses nearly 800,000 acres in New Hampshire and western Maine.
