White Lake State Park Campground has 168 campsites and is located on a National Natural Landmark of 72 acre Pitch Pine Stand, surrounding a glacier formed lake. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 12 tent-only sites. Group camping (2 sites) are also available. Campsites have a table, fire ring and grate.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station. The park also has a office/camps tore, play field, and beach next to the lake. Firewood is also available for sale at the camp store.
The area offers a variety of outdoor recreation including boating (boat rentals available), fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy winter recreation including snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
You may also like Sebago Lake State Park about 45 miles east over in Maine. Crawford Notch State Park Dry River Campground is also nice.
