Allaire State Park Campground has 45 campsites and is located near the Manasquan River in a forested setting. There are also 10 shelters (cabin-like structures) available. These include a wood stove, two double-deck bunks and can sleep up to 4 people. Group camping is also available.
The campground is open year-round. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and an RV dump station (open mid-April to mid-October). Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The Park is probably best known for its historic 19th-century iron making town, Allaire Village, and the Pine Creek Railroad, a narrow-gauge train ride. Other activities include fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There is also a visitor center and museum to visit.
