Turkey Swamp Park Overview

Turkey Swamp Park Campground has 64 campsites (with water/electric hookups) set in a wooded area within the 2,388-acre park. There are also 3 cabins and group camping available (Nomoco Activity Area). The campground is open April 1 through November 15, but the park is open year-round. Fifty-two campsites can be reserved and the other 12 are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Amenities include drinking water, modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot-water showers, laundry facilities, trash collection and a dump station.  There’s also 4 playgrounds, an archery range, sports fields, hiking trails, fishing pond and group picnic areas. Canoe, kayak and paddleboat rentals are also available.

Turkey Swamp Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Ice skating is also popular during the winter.
