El Morro National Monument Comments & Reviews
Visited El Morro National Monument Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to El Morro National Monument?
Just camped here in early June 2022. We had site number 6 and thought it was the best spot. Has a bit of a view, right by water and the toilet. Tent pad is under the trees. Would stay here again. Remember the entry to the Visitor Center and trails closes at 5p so you must be off the trails by 4:45p even when staying in the campground. This means you should start the Headlands Trail no later than 2:30p and I highly recommend this trail.
Thanks for the review Jan! I’ll list #6 as one of the best campsites at El Morro National Monument campground.
