Lone Juniper Campground 4 campsites along the banks of the Rio Grande. All campsites are first-come, first-serve. Campsites are best suited for tents, but can also accommodate small trailers and RVs.
Amenities include drinking water and a vault toilet. Each campsites also has a table, fire ring, grill and BBQ pedestal. All campsites have great views and access to the Rio Grande. There’s also a boat launch at the campground.
Outdoor activities here include fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, tubing, swimming, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The beautiful mountain town of Taos is about an hours drive from the campground.
Other campgrounds nearby include Arroyo Hondo, Rio Bravo and Pilar. Rio Grande Gorge State Park is also nearby (no camping).
