3 Comments on “Sugarite Canyon State Park”

  1. Turkey hunting several years ago (called them in but was unsuccesful with traditional bow/arrow) I saw four (4) bears within 10 minutes, two on each side of the canyon when walking down trail. Nice! We need more bears and fewer big trailers etc.

  2. Dale Beggs says:

Can I put a motorized boat on the lake?

    • Hi Dale,
Electric motors are allowed on the lake. Gasoline motors are not allowed making it popular with sailing, fishing, flat water kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts. Swimming is not allowed either.
