Bob Scott Overview
Bob Scott Campground has 10 campsites and is located in a pinyon-juniper forest at an elevation of 7,200 feet in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. All campsites are first-come, first-serve. There are 9 single-family campsites and 1 group site (up to 50 people).
Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets and trash collection. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
Bob Scott Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing. Fishing is also available over at Birch Creek (8 miles from the campground).
Other campgrounds in the general area include Hickison Petroglyphs Recreation Area, Kingston and Big Creek.
