Brown Tract Pond campground is described as “one of the best kept secrets in the Adirondacks” and is located on the east shore of 146-acre pond. There are 90 campsites, which are large and sit in a forest of large trees.
Campsite can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, a water fill-up station and dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, swimming, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Boat, canoe and kayak rentals are also available.

I spent 5 years at Brown Tract as the lifeguard in the 60’s. What a wonderful, peaceful, family park. If you like peace and quiet, by all means, give it a try.
