Letchworth State Park Campground has 257 campsites (with electric hookups) and is located in wooded area on a bluff above the Genesee River. There are also 81 cabins and 2 cottages available to rent.
Letworth State Park, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” is one of the most scenic areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs (some as high as 600 feet). Lush forests are also throughout the area.
The campground has 8 loops and is located across from the Perry entrance (Schenck Rd.). Pets are okay in loops 100, 200, 700 and 800, but are not allowed in loops 300, 400, 500 or 600. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, dump station and trash collection. There is also a playground at the campground. The park also has a visitor center, recreation center, gift shop, nature center and swimming pool.

Outdoor recreation within the park includes whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter. Letchworth State Park also offers nature, history and performing arts programs, guided walks, tours, a summer lecture series, a pool for swimming and even hot air ballooning.
