Little Pond Campground has 68 single-family (mixed-used) campsites in a remote area of the Catskills along side Little Pond. The Beaverkill, a world-renowned fly-fishing stream, is within minutes of the campground.
Most campsites are heavily wooded, with walk-in and boat-in remote sites available for those who prefer more primitive camping. Each site has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and an RV dump station. There’s also a camp store, playground, picnic area, boat ramp, hiking and biking trails. Boat rentals are also available.
Nature lovers will also enjoy the leisurely hiking trail around a 13-acre pond and the opportunity to venture along trails leading to the ruins of an old farm or enjoy breathtaking views atop the Touchmenot Mountains.
Outdoor activities include hunting, fishing, boating, camping, horseback riding, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing and exploring historic sites.
Two other campgrounds in the area include Mongaup Pond (154 sites) and Beaverkill (83 sites).
