Northampton Beach campground has 224 campsites with several waterfront sites on the 29-mile-long Great Sacandaga Lake. The campground offers a variety of large and level sites among a forest of tall white pines and northern hardwoods.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers or RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also ice/firewood for sale, picnic areas, a boat ramp and swim beach.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Adirondack Park also offers visitors over 6 million acres to explore. There are also many towns and villages, fine lodging, luxury resorts and family-friendly accommodations throughout the park.
