Mt. Gilead State Park is open year round and has 59 campsites (22 full hookups, 37 with electric), 2 cabins and 6 primitive sites. The campground is set in a wooded setting next to a small lake.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, a camp store and dump station. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The park has two small lakes that offer some good fishing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking. There’s also hiking trails, a playground, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, shuffle board, disc golf and picnic area. Other activities include horseback riding, biking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy ice skating and ice fishing in the winter.

LOve the park
Very nice park. Some spots are cramped and sloped. I had site 44 and was happy with it. Showers have separate doors and are big enough for 2. I would come back!
