Alsea Falls Campground has 16 single-family campsites (all reservable) located next Peak Creek and near the waterfalls. The heavily wooded area provides good shade the campsites.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 32 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available.
No first come-first served availability, however, you can come by on a nightly basis to camp if the site is not reserved until the reservation holder arrives.
Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The beautiful Alsea Falls trailhead is next to the campground. It’s about 1/2 mile to the falls.
The Fall Creek Day-Use Trailhead offers over 12 miles of mountain bike specific trails. Hikers can use these trails as well. Green Peak Falls with a drop of 45 feet is accessed by road or trail through the private campground of McBee Park. Follow the markers along the trail and road. Alsea Trout Hatchery is north of the town of Alsea.
