Aspen Point (Lake Of The Woods, OR) Overview

Aspen Point Campground has 58 campsites and is located on the northeast shore of Lake of the Woods, about 40 miles west of Klamath Falls. There are 50 standard sites, 8 double sites, 6 tent-only sites (26-28 and 35-38) and one group site (up to 100 campers). Hookups are not available. Campsites 11-17 are first-come, first-serve and the rest are reservable.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Cell service is good.

Other campgrounds in the area include Sunset, Fish Lake, Doe Point, North Fork and Rainbow Bay (group).

Aspen Point – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area include non-motorized boating, paddle-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There is also an adjacent day-use picnic area. A boat ramp and parking are also available between the day-use area and the campground.
