Beachside State Recreation Site campground has 74 single-family campsites and is located next to an expansive sandy beach on Oregon’s Central coast. There are also two yurts available.  Campsites all are walking distance to the beach and most have nice shade. There are with 32 electric & water hookup sites and 42 tent only sites (water nearby).

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers ($). Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.

Beachside State Recreation Site – Area Recreation

Visitors can enjoy a variety of (beach-type) recreation here including fishing, swimming, hiking, beach combing, exploring tide pools, sunbathing, picnicking and kite flying. Wildlife viewing is also great and can include seeing whales, sea birds and a variety of sea creatures.  There’s also various attractions located nearby including visitor centers, lighthouses, aquariums and science centers.

You may also enjoy Tillicum Beach or Carl G. Washburn Memorial State Park.
