Beaver Dam Group Campground has 4 group campsites set in an old growth forest along Beaver Dam Creek. The group sites can accommodate up to 40 people per site.

The campground is generally open early June to early November. Amenities include vault toilets.  Water and garbage services are not provided. Cell service is not available in the area. Each campsite also has a parking area (28 foot maximum vehicle size), tables, fire ring and grill.

Entry through the access gate and to the campground is by combination lock. The combination will be included in your confirmation letter.

Other campgrounds in the area include North Fork, Doe Point and Fish Lake (Rogue River).

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Howard Prairie Lake is 10 miles from Beaver Dam Group Campground. The reservoir has boating, fishing and swimming opportunities. Amenities offered at Howard Prairie Resort include a store, restaurant and boat ramp.
