Blue Pool Campground Willamette National Forest Oregon

Blue Pool Overview

Blue Pool Campground has 24 campsites set in an old growth forest along Salt Creek in the Willamette National Forest.

The campground is generally open mid May to late September. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. A large picnic area is also located along the creek. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Salmon Creek Falls, Packard Creek, Blair Lake and Sand Prairie.

Blue Pool Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

One-half mile east of the campground on Highway 58 is the McCredie Day Use Area & Hot Springs. The site was formally developed as a hot springs resort but is currently unimproved.
